The eagerly anticipated premier of the first theatre show based on the lives of some of the greatest crooners of all time comes to the Town Hall Theatre, Galway on Sunday, 29 March. Following on from the success of the Irish Rat Pack, The Kings of Swing and The Kings of Swing Band show is written and produced by Jason O’Callaghan. The show will be the first of its kind, as it will be based on the lives of some the great crooners in the history of music, telling the story of music legends such as Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Matt Munro, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. Kevin Hough, former star of RTE's Lyric's Board, will narrate the stories of these music legends while the Irish Rat Pack's Jason O'Callaghan and his seven-piece band perform the hits that defined a generation, such as 'That's Amore', 'Mack the Knife', 'Old Man River', 'King Of The Road', and 'Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime', to name but a few. Don't miss your chance to hear hit after hit from an era steeped in musical history. Tickets priced between €25 and €30 are available for booking now from the Town hall Box office on 091-569 777 or at www.tht.ie. |
