01. Low Motion Disco – 'Love Love Love' (Aeroplane Remix)
A superb low-slung, nu-disco remix from Ghent's latest sensation-in-waiting electronic act Aeroplane.

02. Mugwump – 'Boutade'
An extended intro with marcato strings and timpani builds the drama on this 107 BPM monster, until a massive bassline drops and the dancefloor gets stupid.

03. Laven & MSO featuring Malte – 'Reach'
This minimal/acid 12" reminds me of Berlin at 6am.... 2am in Galway will have to suffice!

04. C.O.M.B.I. – 'You Got Love Song'
An energetic string and horn stab-led disco re-edit from the mysterious COMBI label. An epic disco workout!

05. Opium Factory – 'Kifatheus'
Excellent punk-funk 10' in a similar vein to !!!. All you need to know really...

06. Casionova – 'Shoreham Harbour Blues' (Ali Renault Remix)
Old-school style electro on the prolific Dissident label.

07. Loud-E – 'Palaza Break'
It is physically impossible not to move to this disco-infused number.

08. Sally Shapiro – 'Jackie Junior' (Junior Boys Dub)
Haunting vocals complimented with a low-end, 'heavy remix from the always-excellent Junior Boys.

09. Basti Grub – 'Trude Traaatscht'
Tech-house stomper with superbly chopped-up vocals.

10. Blackbelt Andersen – 'Sirup' (Prins Thomas Diskomiks)
In truth, any number of Prins Thomas' remixes could have made it into the top ten. This one shades it for me at the moment; trippy, acidic, and the trademark PT bassline make for an excellent release on Prins' Full Pupp Records.

Ger Z is resident along with PTK at Galway's newest club night, Night Falls, which takes place monthly at The Cellar Underground, Eglinton Street. The music policy for the night will focus on quality electronic music, ranging from nu-disco, house, techno and minimal. Joining Ger on the opening night, this Friday, 25 April, will be Shit Robot from DFA Records. Doors on the night will be from 10pm, and admission is €10.
