There's a great value night out for a very worthy cause next Wednesday, 10 February when six Galway based acts - three singer songwriters and three bands of varying styles – come together for a fundraiser in Kelly's. All money raised from the event, titled Mixed Grill, will go towards the charity Clic Sargent, which helps children who’ve been diagnosed with cancer.

The acts range from the are soulful melodic folk and country twangs of Danny O'Hanion, Colin H. Smith and Paul O'Reilly to the powerful 'shoe-gazingesque' Gardener and from the metalcore and dark metal of Neifenbach to the fuzzed-up indie-punk of Blackeye Express.

Doors 7.30pm with the first act on at 8.30pm. Admission is only €5.
