![]() One of the founding fathers of the Irish stand up scene, the truly enigmatic Kevin Gildea headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday, 7 September. A brilliant comedian whose careworn style is an absolute winner, Kevin skips recklessly along that taut tightrope that separates comedy genius from criminal insanity. His Edinburgh Fringe shows are critically acclaimed sell-outs. He has written for Alexi Sayle and appeared on TV's 'The Stand Up Show', 'The Comedy Stores' St Patrick's Day Special and the 'Amnesty International Comedy Special'. His mild manner and quirky absurdist viewpoint pave the way for side splittingly funny ruminations. Support on the night comes from English based Irish comic Kevin Hayes, another Comedy Store regular and Gerry Mallon is the host and MC. Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door which opens at 8.30pm |
