FOUND, the magazine which collects notes, letters and photos that people have found on the ground and on the street, is making a stop in Galway this October.

The magazine has also published two FOUND books with Simon & Schuster, and they share a Find-of-the-Day every day on the FOUND website, www.foundmagazine.com.

"For the last seven years, I've been touring the United States with my brother Peter, a musician, putting on our rowdy FOUND live show in hundreds of cities. This fall, to celebrate the release of our FOUND book by Octopus, a European publisher, we're taking our lively FOUND tour around Europe for the first time!" explained FOUND maker Davy Rothbart.

"At these shows, I get up on stage with a stack of my favourite found notes and letters and give them an energetic reading. My brother Peter plays songs that he's written based on found notes. The finds are absolutely magical, and the audience always seems to laugh a ton and leave feeling exhilarated and inspired to go out and start finding stuff!

The New York Times said, "The FOUND show is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences that changes the way you look at the world. Hilarious and heartbreaking, it's not to be missed!"

This autumn, FOUND will also be touring with Brett Loudermilk, a dazzling 19-year-old sword-swallowing prodigy, and a fiercely entertaining underground DJ from Los Angeles named Andrew Cohn.

FOUND comes to the Róisín Dubh on Saturday 11 October at 8pm. Admission is €10.
