The Laughter Lounge at the Róisín Dubh sees Greg Fleet, Josh Thomas and Steve Cummins take to the stage tonight, Wednesday 4 June, at 9pm. Greg Fleety won the inaugural Golden Guy Fawkes Award for being the most seditious comic at the 2006 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He is a trained actor and his character killed Daphne in Neighbours. Josh Thomas is Australian. He has performed at the Edinburgh, Melbourne and Montreal Comedy Festivals. His latest show is called 'The Adventures Of Josh Thomas' and 'The World's Greatest Love Machine', which is often misread. Steve Cummins has been a comedian for five years and has been full time since January 2004. He has performed in every major venue throughout Ireland and has performed at the Edinburgh festival. He is a regular contributor to Hot Press magazine and other publications. Prior to turning professional, Steve spent the 15 years working with the homeless, juvenile offenders and adolescent gang members from the Projects in Chicago. There will be an open spot from Brian Connolly. Tickets, €12.50, are available from the Róisín Dubh. |
