Elaine Enright and Fia Rua will play in the Amnesty International Freedom Café, Middle St, on Thursday 15 May at 5pm.

Fia Rua, whose real name is Eoghan Burke is a performing and recording artist who's bringing his music to as many people as he can here in Ireland and wherever else he can get a cheap flight to. Eoghan's in the process of organising his second album, with a single 'More Magic', recorded at 6YO Studios Galway just released.

Elaine Enright is a blossoming cellist/singer-songwriter who appeared on the Unchained Melodies album with her first recording. Since then she has developed the love of habitually coming up with music and lyrics in her head which she ventures to put on paper, voice and cello but primarily she wants to tell a story through this medium. This unique performer, a fairy princess of Irish ancestry, is joined on the night by Ciara Haugh on low whistle for some gentle sounds.

Admission to this gig is free.

If you are interested in playing or require details, contact: Anna Sorensdotter, Amnesty International, 2-3 Middle Street or check out www.amnesty.ie.
