October's highly anticipated Heineken Green Spheres show with Peter Doherty has been rescheduled for 21 January in the Roisin Dubh. The Babyhambles frontman was forced to postpone his earlier dates, but has now confirmed he will return to Ireland this January to play the Heineken Green Spheres show. Doherty performed earlier this year at the Heineken Green Spheres stage at Oxegen. The Libertines and Babyshambles' front man's rescheduled encounter gives fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with Peter Doherty - reminiscent of the small guerrilla gigs Doherty held in his flat to showcase his new work. Never short of headlines during his colourful career, Peter's latest incarnation has seen him in the press for all the right reasons with his new material receiving critical acclaim. His latest album, 'Grace/Wastelands, according to the Observer Music Monthly, is 'the sound of his heart breaking and it's beautiful... The sense of chaos has gone and with it the sense of naivety that pervaded his early works.' All tickets received through the Heinekenmusic.ie site for the original show will be valid for the new date. A limited number of extra tickets will be made available for the show in January. Stay tuned to www.heinekenmusic.ie for up to date information. |
