Galway's large and lively student session, Dusty Banjos, is the subject of a short documentary to be shown in the Town Hall Theatre this Sunday, 17 February, from 2pm.

The film was made over the summer by Community Music Crew, ID Films and the Galway Film Centre. It features members of the group speaking about issues that confront adult learners, plus footage from various sessions and events, including Dusty's fifth birthday session, which saw over 50 musicians take to the stage in the Crane.

The documentary will be shown along with five other short community films.

There will be a session in the bar afterwards, and everyone is welcome to come along and join in.
