This October Bank Holiday weekend, the Bierhaus, Henry Street, presents a DJ line up for the more discerning Galway music fans.

The weekend begins on Friday 26 October with DJ Manipulate (Nausecorps Records, Brighton, UK) with his Galway based musical collaborator, DJ Deviant, whose 'Grandeurs of Delusion' album has just recently been released to press acclaim, this event will showcase plenty of hip-hop and lots more interesting sounds.

On Saturday 27 October, the veteran Irish music presenter Donal Dineen makes a rare DJ appearance. Donal made his name presenting the TV music show 'No Disco' on RTE and with his previous radio show 'Here comes the night'. He is currently broadcasting his superb late night 'Small Hours' every weekday on Today FM.

Donal will be playing until 2am and will showcase his renowned musical eclecticism, with everything from the downtempo sounds of his radio show to the most up-to-date European club tracks, which he also loves.

On Sunday 28 October, the Bierhaus presents one of the world most respected DJs, Keb Darge, who could quite rightly be described as the number one funk and soul DJ in the world.

Darge has been a tireless promoter of underground soul, funk and rock and roll music for the last 30 years and has achieved legendary status with a 60's and 70's musical knowledge second to none. The legendary out-spoken Scotsman has been around the northern soul and funk scene since the start and began his career as a dancer at the legendary Wigan Casino dancehall. He is resident DJ at his own Deep Fried Funk night every Friday at Madame Jo-Jo's in London. Darge will be playing until 2am. Admission is free every night.
