The popular Dead Monkey original live music nights have now established a new home downstairs at The Cellar Bar on Eglinton Street.

After a very successful show last month, Dead Monkey returns on Thursday 10 April at 9pm. On the bill will be Galway based ex Scouse punk three piece Vamos, who will be playing a heap of new songs from their forthcoming album 'More Songs about Circles', which is due for release towards the end of 2008.

Also playing will be local heavy grunge rock band Just… who recently took a little time out, changed the line-up slightly and returned with a new lease of life. Expect heavy danceable guitars with some tin whistle and dred locks thrown in.

Galway based comedian Sean Sheridan will also be performing on the night.

Real vinyl records will be spinning before, in-between and after the bands. DJs Andre and Tomas from Vamos will be playing indie, punk, rock, ska and reggae from the 70s to 2000s.

Admission to this event is free.
