David Kitt will play a solo show in the Roisín Dubh on Friday 9 February. One of Ireland's foremost singer songwriters, David Kitt came to music fans' attention with the release of his debut album, 'Small Moments', in 2000. His second album 'The Big Romance' burst on to the music scene in 2001 with the hits from the album, 'Song From Hope Street' and 'You Know What I Want to Know'. His third album 'Square 1' featured the infectious tune 'Me and My Love'. Kitt, who is a native of Dublin, combines an urban sound with warm acoustic tunes. A fluid guitar sound is prominent in most of his tracks, adding to the mellow nature of his music. Tickets are priced at €20/€17.50 (members). Doors open at 9pm. |
