The Comedy Club at Cuba* kicks off its 2007 programme with one of the highlights of last year's inaugural Galway comedy festival.

2654 Geordie Gavin Webster's style of comedy is loud, sharp and controversial. His material is bold and provocative, yet delivered in a charming manner. Gavin has now established himself as one of the most exciting talents to emerge on the national comedy circuit in recent years.

Support on the night comes from the always-impressive Bernard O Shea and Gerry Mallon, as usual, is host and MC.

Tickets for Sunday's Comedy Club can be purchased in advance from Bar 903, the Cellar bar and at the door on the night, which opens at 8.30pm. Tickets are ?12.50, which includes free entry to Cuba* nightclub afterwards.
