The Comedy Club at Cuba* hosts its Christmas party this Sunday, 23 December, featuring two of the circuit's most outrageous and controversial acts. David McSavage, fresh from his hilarious Late Late Show appearance, is certainly not one for the faint hearted. Having honed his craft on the mean streets of Dublin, Dave has gone on to perform at all the world's major comedy festivals and regularly sells out Vicar St in Dublin. At times shocking and offensive, he is nevertheless an engaging performer at the peak of his craft. He will be joined by one half of the manic duo responsible for RTé'S hit comedy show 'I Dare Ya', the zany Andrew Stanley. This affable Dubliner with balls of steel has enthralled TV viewers with his crazy stunts and pranks, yet it is as a stand up that his star truly shines. Expect the unexpected as this guy has no sense of shame. Gerry Mallon is the host and MC for the night. Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
