Charity night in Corrandulla

A wonderful evening of entertainment has been organised in Corrandulla to provide much needed support to fund projects in Guatemala.

A play about Patrick Kavanagh and music and dancing from Matt Keane, Derek and Tiernan Fahy and other guest musicians will all be on show in the Corrandulla Hall on Friday 27 November.

The London Irish Theatre Company will perform the play 'Kavanagh', written by Tom O'Brien directed by John Dunne and performed by Aisling Mallon and Nik Wood-Jones. This play is about Patrick Kavanagh's life, times and work; a journey from the fields of Monaghan to the streets of Dublin and beyond.

A lively session of music, song and dance will prelude the play. Matt Keane and guest musicians will perform with renowned dancers Derek Fahy (from Lord of the Dance) and his son Tiernan (the Connacht Under 7 Champion) to provide some show-stopping entertainment.

Doors 8pm sharp and tea and coffee will be provided. If you want to come out and support a very worthy cause, tickets are available on the door - €10 for adults and €5 for students.
