![]() Dubbed the' King Of The Slackers', Canada's Glen Wool headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday, 2 March. Glen was recently voted 'Best International Comedian' at the Australian Comedy awards following a sell-out tour Down Under. He weaves life-enhancing, hilarious stories with killer one-liners and is a one-off with a mind that ticks at double speed. He began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995 and quickly established himself as one of the most in demand comics on the Canadian circuit. Since moving over to this side of the world, he has appeared on 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' (BBC2), 'The Live Floor Show' (BBC2) and 'The World Stands Up' (Paramount). Support on the night comes from new Dublin comic Gar Murran and Gerry Mallon is the host and MC. There is also a chance to win tickets for the Galway Comedy Festival in the ever-popular Joke Competition. Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
