Tom Stade (Canada) headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* on Sunday 28 January 2007. Stade has a magnetic stage presence. His material springs out of a life spent in British Columbia's backwoods. With an innocence that lurks behind his devilish smile, he is a stand-up version of Voltaire's naive optimist. He has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS), Late Night with Conan O Brien (NBC), Premium Blend (Comedy Central) and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC).Support on the night will come from Kerry comedian Carol Tobin. Special guest MC is Tommy Tiernan. Tickets, which are priced at ?12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, the Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm, (Includes free entry to the nightclub afterwards). |
