Julian Gough will read from his latest novel, and perhaps also sing one or two songs, in Charlie Byrne's Bookshop on Tuesday 5 August at 6pm. Gough grew up in Ireland and now lives in Berlin. He is lyricist and lead singer with the Galway-based band Toasted Heretic. They have released four albums, including a recent reissue of their first two albums. Gough's first novel, 'Juno and Juliet' was published in 2001. His second novel, 'Jude', is being published in a rather unusual way. Jude: Level 1 has been published in the usual way by Old Street Publishing. Levels 2 and 3, however, will be made available free on-line, episode by episode, before all three levels of Jude are published in one volume. |
