Ben Hurley, Jarlath Regan and guest MC Keith Farnan will perform at the Laughter Lounge tonight, Wednesday 7 February at 9pm.

Ben, a Kiwi now based in London, has established himself as a solid headline act both on a national and international stage, with performances in more than eight countries. His massive stage presence has won him New Zealand's two biggest comedy awards: The New Zealand Comedy Guild Best Male Comedian in 2004 and The 2004 Oddfellows Billy T award.

Jarlath's comic style is an alternative brand of new age Irish comedy of smart crafted jokes with a charming delivery. A Dubliner that is absurdly funny, he has supported some of Ireland's top comedians from Ardal O Hanlon to Tommy Tiernan. As a writer, Jarlath has worked extensively in radio and television. He has been a regular contributor to the top rated late night talk show Tubridy Tonight, The Last Word on Today FM.

Guest MC Keith Farnan is a comical mix of political and parochial worldly wit. Keith is rapidly building up a reputation as one of the most energetic and intelligent of the new Irish acts to watch. He has featured in shows in New York, such as Laughing Liberally and the Sweet Show, which hosts comedians and writers from Saturday Night Live and ESPN.

Gar Murren, Winner of the 2006 Bulmers comedy competition, will occupy the open mike spot.

Doors open at 9pm. Tickets are priced at €12.50/€10 (members) or €7.50 with a flyer. The comedy will be followed by DJ Monty Rock and Indie classics.
