1) Leeroy - 'Fireball' - (Jakarta)
Big fun on a little 7" as Leeroy of France's Supa Saian Crew applies Steinski's cut-up aesthetic to a rag-bag of Bollywood recordings.

2) Scottie B – 'Ofra Bhangra' - (Money Lotion)
Cheeky bootleg action as Baltimore's Scottie B sticks a 'Think' breakbeat under a loop of Israel's Ofra Haza to create a jackin' club banger.

3) Henrik Schwarz - 'I Exist Because of You' - (Live Version)
The man responsible for one of the finest mix CDs of recent times, in the form of his peerless contribution to the DJKicks series, now points the way forward for afro-house with this ten minute epic.

4) Jellybass - 'Vulgar' - (LoHz Recordings)
Dixies-Land brass samples, a swinging beat and that MAMMOTH sub-bassline. Step aside Mr Scruff and make way for the new breed of musical magpie!

5) Tenorio Jr - 'Nebulosa (Nu:Tone Remix)' - (Mr Bongo)
Sparkling piano notes glide over the warmest of sine-bass as Cambridge's Nu:Tone gives this 1964 Brazilian jazz-dance classic the drum 'n' bass once-over. The sound of summertime!

6) Besh O Drom - 'Ha Megfogom Az Ordogot' - (Eastblok)
Blazing Balkan gypsy ska with lightning-fast flutes, tumbling bass and a clever tempo switch midway through.

7) Roland Appel - 'Unforgiven' - (Sonar Kollektiv)
Hands-in-the-air anthem of the year down our way, and such a naggingly addictive synth riff!

8) Me & You - 'Last Night' - (Tru Thoughts)
Calypso drum 'n' bass from Brighton's finest fusionists.

9) Rock/West/Woods - 'Love Cats' - (Mukatsuku)
The Cure's classic rendered in a playful up-tempo Japanese jazz-dance style - dynamite!

10) Syclops - 'Where's Jason's K?' - (DFA)
Wigged out sexy-ass electronik funk muzik from Mr Maurice Fulton!

Club 0a2, in the cosy confines of Club Arus na nGael, 45 Dominic St., is Galway's weekly one-stop shop for worldwide future funk and blazing dancefloor beats, served up from 9.30pm each Friday by resident DJs Ben, Will & Mr Whippy. Now entering its seventh year in operation, the club's join-the-dots musical philosophy and general disregard for the trends of mainstream club-land has earned Club 0a2 an enthusiastic and loyal international crowd. Expect the freshest Latin, Jamaican, African, Balkan and Asian beats, some stone-cold classics and buckets of fun! Admission is a friendly €4 or free before 10.30pm.
