After spending years gigging and playing in Galway, Paddy Casey is coming back to the City of The Tribes for a gig in the Black Box on Tuesday 18 December. "I love gigging in Galway, there is an amazing warmth and Galway is always such a friendly place to play in," said Paddy.

The gig is with the same band but with all the new songs and material there is a lot to get used to. Last year Paddy spent the majority of the year finishing up the album 'Addicted To Company'. "I find that recording and writing is such a different beast to the buzz of touring. The definite highlight for me last year was finishing the album," added Paddy.

A man who is inspired by everything from movies, reading to simply just hanging out Paddy has grown up and matured within the music industry. "I am more and more involved in the decision making process now in relation to videos especially. I am coming up with ideas and ways that I can have more of an input into the process," remarked Paddy.

Paddy is setting his sights on the US in the New Year still finds that Ireland and Scotland are still the best places to play. "There is great energy here and the US is just a different feel," said Paddy.

Tickets, €30 for Paddy Casey are available from 091-569777.
