Local singer Pat Naughton released his debut album 'A time to remember' yesterday Tuesday 12 august at 8.30pm in the church of the assumption Athenry. This spiritual album is a collection of powerful church songs including 'How great thou art', 'The old rugged cross', 'There is a place' and many more. The concert was held in association with Athenry cancer care. Pat was joined by album producer Eugene Kelly on keyboards, Brenda Curtain on violin, Harry Monson on guitar and Aiden Archer on percussion. Special guests included local artists who also appear on the album Marilyn Bane, Harry Monson, Maeve Kilkelly, Caroline Blaine, Bridget Coughlan, Owen Diviney and the Lisheenkyle school choir. The album is on sale from Zhivago, Red Light and Golden Discs. |
