Canada's Stewart Francis will headline the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday 27 April.

An accomplished actor and writer, Stewart's gags are razored-down one-liners with disarming set-ups.

A regular on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', he has twice been voted 'Canadian Comic of the year' (2003, 2005) and was most recently seen on our screens on the Just for Laughs on RTE2.

Support on the night comes from the winner of this year's Toilet Duck award for new Irish Comedy, the enigmatic Bob Hennigan, and on the open mike slot for new talent is Sean Daly.

The host and MC for the evening is Gerry Mallon. Tickets, €12.50 are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm.
