'Kings', the Irish film short-listed for an Oscar nomination and nominated for 14 IFTA awards will make a return to the Eye Cinema in Wellpark from Friday 18 January.

And the director, Tom Collins and cast member Peadar ó Treasaigh will attend a question and answer session in the Eye Cinema on Tuesday 22 January at 8.45pm after the early evening screening.

'Kings' tells the story of a group of men who left Connemara in the 1970s to find work on the building sites in London. Thirty years later they reunite at a wake for one of their friends, the youngest member of their original group, Jackie. Time has been kinder to some than to others but now five men with a lot in common and a lot to hide have one very long night ahead of them.

Booking is advisable, as the event is expected to sell out and only ticket holders to the movie will be admitted.

For further information on screening times or on the movie itself, check out www.eyecinema.ie or phone 091-780078.
