Aras na nGael will shortly introduce a new monthly traditional music session for children and teenagers. The session will be hosted by fiddle player and experienced teacher Anna Falkenau and is directed at teenagers who are of intermediate or advanced performance level. All instruments are welcome.

The session will introduce youngsters to the more social aspect of traditional music playing and help them to expand musical repertoire and performance skills.

The session will take place in Aras na nGael, 45 Dominick St once a month on Saturdays in the afternoon between 2.30pm and 4.30pm with each session lasting an hour.

The sessions will run up until the summer on the following dates: 6 February, 6 March, 24 April, 8 May and 12 June. Registration forms are available from Áras na nGael and the fee of €85 should be paid in full by cheque before to the first session.

For more information, contact Anna on 086-6095313 or visit www.myspace.com/annafalkenau.
