Galway Arts Centre will hold another summer of fun for children this year, with a programme full of exciting and creative activities.

Throughout May and June the centre will run its ever-popular Saturday classes in which they will use the current exhibition for inspiration for young budding artists, exploring drawing, painting and three-dimensional spaces in a fun and safe environment.

The centre will also have after school classes on Monday, Tuesday and Friday with printmaking and portfolio classes for teenagers. For the month of July and August they will run summer camps with a different focus each week from puppet making, textiles and batik to sketching with charcoal and pastels.

For a full programme, which includes both adult and evening classes, see www.galwayartscentre.ie. Early booking is advised. Contact 091-565886 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
