The Connacht Property Auction have noted a significant uplift in foreign buyers looking to purchase in the West of Ireland.

The majority of these are from the UK with sterling exchange rate remaining very strong while there is also strong level of enquiry from Australia, Germany, US and Canada.
The auction team are now inviting entries for their upcoming auction on 17 September and expect another successful auction with the increased enquiry from abroad along with continued local demand. The first three auctions to take place this year averaged over 90 per cent sold and with demand expecting to continue into the back end of the year, now is a good time to bring properties on to the market.
The company do not charge any upfront costs into the auction and take on board all marketing and entry fees themselves. Furthermore, the auction team will agree a fair Seller’s Reserve with each property owner which is the minimum amount the property owner can walk away with.
