Choice Music Prize-winning Galwegian singer and composer Julie Feeney will perform songs from her third album, ‘Clocks’, at an intimate album launch in Druid Theatre next Monday, 19 November.
‘Clocks’ was written in Ballinahinch Castle and Lough Inagh Cottages in Galway and recorded at Kylemore Abbey Gothic Church, a return to home ground for Julie.
Her third album was funded by a hugely successful Fund:it campaign and looks set to build upon the success of ‘13 Songs’, which won the 2006 Choice Music Prize for Best Irish Album and ‘Pages’, which was nominated for the same prize in 2010.
Having braved Hurricane Sandy to play a New York show last week, Julie will return for this intimate show on Monday week. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at HMV, William Street.
