Clayton Hotel Galway scooped a prestigious Gold Award for Excellence at the Irish Accommodation Services Institute (IASI) Awards, which were held recently in Hotel Westport.
The awards were organised by IASI, the national body which represents the professional interests of the accommodation sector. All applicants are independently assessed and only those who achieve the standard as set out by the IASI receive the prestigious award. The Gold Award for Excellence is given for achieving exceptional standards across a broad range of accommodation services including servicing of guest bedrooms, washrooms and public areas.
Commenting on the awards, Accommodation Manager at Clayton Hotel Galway Jadviga Mihailova said: “We are very proud of this award. It is a true testament to the dedication, commitment and hard work of the Accommodation team here at Clayton Hotel Galway and this is only achieved through continuous training, support and encouragement as a daily routine. The award is a lovely recognition for the wonderful work the staff do.”
Congratulating the Accommodation team on the award, General Manager, Rory Fitzpatrick said: “I am delighted for the entire team. We are honoured to be awarded a Gold Award by the IASI. This is only our second year being audited by the Institute, so it is a remarkable achievement for Jadviga and her team.”
