To paraphrase Frank Sinatra, it was a "very good year" for GBSC, as seen at the club's AGM on Wednesday 6 November.
The club is growing, with over 500 members including adults and children.
Several club members had sailing success and adventures at home and away. The highlight of the year was the success of the Ireland West team in the Round Ireland Race. Other club boats had successes at home and away including Martin Breen's 'That's Life' in the ISM 100 and Liam Burke's AWOL in Fenit. Kevin Heery’s Sabrina completed the ARC.
