Caprice Cafe’s latest signing

Wednesday, 4th January, 2017 1:00am

Caprice Cafe is now the official player sponsor of Connacht Rugby’s Stacey Ili. The 25 year old from Auckland, New Zealand has made his mark on the Connacht team since joining earlier this year and is enjoying settling into life in Galway.

Commenting on the arrival of the utility back in mid September, Connacht Rugby head coach Pat Lam said: “Stacey increases our options all across the back line, he is an exciting and skilful player who complements the game we want to play.”

Speaking at the announcement of their player sponsorship Vicky Casey, owner of Caprice Cafe said: “We are delighted to be the official player sponsor of Stacey. His arrival at Connacht back in September marked the official opening of Caprice, so when we looked at sponsoring a Connacht player he was the obvious choice for me. Caprice and Stacey are new to Galway and happily we have both received a very warm welcome and we look forward to developing a great relationship with Connacht Rugby and Stacey.”
