At this time of year, most businesses owners and managers know they need to begin making plans for the coming year. ‘Where best to begin?’ might be the question in the back of their minds.
To address this crucial aspect of success in business SCCUL Enterprises present a free seminar on Budgeting for Business on Thursday 26 November at 7.30pm at the SCCUL Enterprise Centre in Ballybane.
In this seminar Galway accountant and business strategist Jim Cahill of AccountsPLUS will set out why SMEs should prepare a budget at this time and outline an easy-to-follow, methodical approach to the task. He will show how to use the budget both to develop an understanding of business performance and to address any risks that the process uncovers. Additionally, he will identify useful software tools and resources that can be a great help to managers with many demands on their time.
If you are a business owner/manager and you want to improve your budgeting skills then this seminar will give you some key information and will also provide you with an opportunity to ask questions from a practical and highly-experienced business advisor.
Jim Cahill, principal of Galway based AccountsPLUS, is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in Senior Management and a further 15 years in SME consultancy, helping SMEs to use accounting information to drive profitability and growth. Jim is an approved advisor for Enterprise Ireland’s Lean Advisor Panel, a Mentor on EI’s mentor panel and also a member of BIM’s facilitator panel.
