Tuam Travellers to benefit from Dormant Account Fund

Fianna Fáil Senator and Dáil candidate for Galway East Michael Kitt has received confirmation the Tuam Travellers Education and Development Association has received significant funding from the Dormant Account Fund.
"The Tuam Travellers Education and Development Association is to receive €47,000 towards the implementation of an alcohol education and prevention project," said Senator Kitt.

"This initiative will go some way to providing information and support for members of the travelling community who are suffering from alcohol related problems," he added.
