One of Ireland's leading tour operators, Slatterys Travel, commenced
its first flights to the sun last Saturday from Galway Airport. The
first flight departed for Malaga and twice weekly services will now be
operating from Galway to Malaga, Faro and Bordeaux. With hundreds of travellers from Galway availing of the services, it's set to be a busy summer ahead for Galway Airport and Slatterys Travel. "With Slatterys Travel regional flights making travelling even simpler, long car journeys to airports are a things of the past. There are still a few great value-for-money deals and seats available for the summer months, so it's not too late to book some summer sun." he said. The flights run initially until the end of September. Flights to Malaga depart Tuesdays and Saturdays; Faro flights depart on Wednesdays and Sundays and Bordeaux will operate on Fridays and Mondays. Customers will be travelling to the sun in comfort in a BAE146 four engine, jet aircraft. Customers can travel to Malaga, Faro and Bordeaux with Slatterys Travel on an inclusive package basis or flight only.
