Early stage Competitive Start Fund launched
Enterprise Ireland have announced a new Competitive Start Fund (CSF) totalling up to €750,000 to support start up activity in all sectors. The Fund, which provides €50,000 in equity funding for each successful applicant, will open for submissions on Wednesday 25 January and will close at 3pm on Wednesday 8 February. Enterprise Ireland companies create over 800 jobs in Galway
Enterprise Ireland, the Government agency responsible for developing Irish business globally, reported that Enterprise Ireland client companies based in Galway created 836 jobs in 2016, bringing total employment by Enterprise Ireland clients to 7,294. A total of 19,244 new jobs in Enterprise Ireland supported businesses were created across the country in 2016.
