The final date for nominations in the 17th annual Allianz Business to Arts Awards is fast approaching, with final submissions due by 28 March. Business to Arts is expecting an increase in nominations this year from all counties as they have re-shaped the awards, moving away from rewarding purely sponsorship relationships, to celebrating the full range of creative partnerships between business and the arts. Businesses and arts organisations who wish to be considered for this year's awards have until Friday 28 March 2008 to submit their nominations. Entry forms can be obtained from Business to Arts on 01-6725336, or on the website www.businesstoarts.ie. The awards encourage businesses and arts organisations to develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships, and recognise excellence by the individuals who champion those partnerships, so make sure County Galway is well represented this year. The relationship between business and the arts continues to grow and change and this year's awards will reflect this by introducing innovative new categories within the awards. The awards will now encompass all elements of the business and arts relationships and some of the new categories include, Corporate Social Responsibility Award, The Jim McNaughton Perpetual Award for Best Commissioning Practice and Best Arts Champion among others. To find out more about the awards and the new categories log on to www.businesstoarts.ie. |
