Ulster Bank will officially open the doors of its new branch and business centre in Loughrea today, Wednesday 20 August. The Scottish-owned bank has recently opened three new outlets in Dublin, despite the economic downturn. The Loughrea branch includes a dedicated business team servicing the needs of business customers in the local community. Through these new premises, the team including Branch Development Manager Mary Tierney and Business Development Manager Shane Feeney will provide first class service to personal and business banking customers. Speaking at the opening, Mary Tierney said; "We are delighted to be opening the doors of our new branch here in Loughrea. We have been at the forefront in delivering real competition in the market for some time now by offering innovative products across all areas from mortgages to current accounts. We are looking forward to bringing the benefits of these products, such as our U First current account offer and offering a first class service to our new customers in Loughrea. " Business Development Manager, Shane Feeney commented; "This opening highlights the ongoing investment in our banking infrastructure and our commitment to supporting the growth and expansion of local businesses across Ireland. The new premises in Loughrea will bring the total number of branches on the island of Ireland to 226 and the total number of business banking offices to 60. |
