Land of Leather is to close its Galway store, along with stores in Cork and Sligo, after the administrator failed to find a buyer or raise additional funding. The business was put into administration in early January. At that time Land of Leather had 17 stores across the island of Ireland: Belfast, Newtownabbey, Coleraine, Newry, Derry, Dublin, Swords, Limerick, Cork, Leopardstown, Athlone, Sligo, Tralee, Bray, Kikenny, Drogheda and Galway. It has a total of 98 stores across the UK. |
