Have the Olympics lost their ethos and integrity?

Citius, Altius, Fortius. Faster, Higher, Stronger. The motto, the hendiatris, which encompasses the spirit and tenet of the Olympic Games. The ideal that one strives constantly to be better in sport but also better as human beings.
