All those self-builders worrying about where to go and who to talk to about building your own home, look no further.

EBS Building Society is hosting a seminar in EBS Oranmore, on Thursday, 24 April at 6.30pm targeted at those building a new home in Galway. The seminar is part of a nationwide campaign targeted at 'self-builders' in response to members' feedback about the lack of information available to embark on this type of project. As well as providing information on the provision of finance, it is the intention of EBS that the 'Self-Build' Seminars will involve presentations from complimentary suppliers such as town planners, architects and builders, all of whom can give insight to those considering or going through the process of building their own home.

"This is a direct response to feedback we have received from our members – they felt that there was a lack of information in the market place for those considering building their own home" explains Micheal Donoghue of EBS Oranmore.
