| Hairdressing College opens for spring applicants |

The Irish College of Hairdressing, Galway has announced the opening of admissions for its full-time, nine month, hairdressing training course starting on Tuesday 17 April. The College's programme for students leads to the internationally recognized City and Guilds Qualification. The intensive course, which will see students graduate as fully qualified hairstylists in nine months, is ideal for candidates who have a keen interest in pursuing a career in the hairdressing industry and want to fast-track their training. Interviews for admissions will take place in the week of 29 January. For qualified hairdressers who wish to continue to enhance their skills, Irish College of Hairdressing has a range of one and two day courses, including an Advanced Cut and Colour Course on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 March. The 'bob' has become the uber trendy cut this year with celebrities such as Victoria Beckham bringing it right up to date, for those stylists who want to perfect the cut, the college is running a Classic and Commercial Bob Cutting course on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 February at the Liosbán training centre.
