A Galway hostel has been awarded the top honour for hostels in Ireland – the hostelworld.com 'Best Hostel in Ireland' award. Kinlay House Hostel, Galway has received 'The Best Hostel In Ireland' award at the prestigious Hostelworld.com awards ceremony, which was held on Monday, 28 February in Dublin. Hostelworld.com chooses its award recipient from a worldwide base of 600,000 guest reviews. From over 180 hostels throughout the country, Kinlay Galway has consistently received the highest ratings in customer service, standard of facilities and overall guest satisfaction. Since its takeover by John O'Dolan and complete refurbishment over the last two years, Kinlay Galway's growth has proved it to be a dominant force in the Hostel industry throughout Ireland thanks to General Manager Declan Sharkey, Assistant Manager Geraldine Diggin and their dedicated team. Kinlay Galway's capacity of over 150 beds enables it to cater for the individual, large and small groups and agents or tour operators. Kinlay's sister hostel, The Galway City Hostel is also recognised as being in the top six rated hostels throughout the country. Both are owned by local Galway businessman, John O'Dolan, who also owns Killarney Railway Hostel, Four Courts Hostel Dublin, Crakow Hostel Poland and who is presently building Dubai's largest tourist Hostel with 1,000 beds. |
