Galway Chamber has invited local companies to attend a seminar about investing in business in Louisiana. According to the Chamber, billions of dollars are being invested in Louisiana following the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina and the opportunities for forward-thinking businesses are enormous. With easy access to major markets, a strategic location on the Mississippi River and one of the most attractive incentive programmes for businesses, Louisiana offers local businesses a major opportunity The seminar will include first hand demonstrations of the opportunities, which exist in Louisiana for Galway businesses. The Business Briefing will take place on Wednesday 25 July at 2.30pm in the Galway Technology Centre, Mervue Business Park, Galway The briefing will be hosted by the Louisiana Economic Development Department and speakers will include Michael Olivier, Secretary for Economic Development Louisiana and Larry Collins, International Director Louisiana Economic Development Department.
