Local dynamic business-networking group, Business & Breakfast has launched its new website: www.businessbreakfast.net.

As well as containing details for all members' businesses, the website includes information about the group and will be an initial contact point for new members.

Established by a group of four business owners in 2006, Business & Breakfast has grown rapidly and now has 30 members in Galway City, ranging from industries as diverse as solicitors and wine merchants to marketing specialists and accountants.

Explaining the group's significant success, current Chairperson, Lorna Maguire, Director of ALL3D, an architectural illustration company based in Newcastle, says the group's ethos is as "a business support network, which believes that by focusing on member relationship, referrals and business will naturally follow."

"This ethos means that only one representative from any industry is allowed to join the group, thus facilitating unparalleled networking and business-building opportunities for members, whilst not having to compete within the group," she said.

An annual attendance-commitment of 45 weeks allows members to really get to grips with each other's businesses and also to get know each other on a personal level, which helps to build trust and referrals.

Members also testify to the business acumen within the group. "Whether I am looking to buy new computers for the business or trying out a new idea, there is always someone in the group to offer support or suggestions," according to group member and commercial photographer, Jonnie Morgan of Morgan Photography.

The group meets every Wednesday at 7.30am in the Ramada Hotel, Oranmore. At each meeting, members briefly introduce themselves and their businesses, with one pre-selected member giving a 15-minute presentation each week. Some training and extra events are also organised to provide additional information and networking opportunities.

For more information on the Business & Breakfast group and how to join, visit the newly- launched website at: www.businessbreakfast.net. Or contact Brendan Costello on 086-2997524.
