Coen Cantrell is Galway’s longest established college of beauty therapy, which began life in Salthill and relocated to Liosban in 2002. The school is well-known for providing excellent education in the field of beauty and complementary therapies.
The 3000sq ft training facility offers superb spacious lecture rooms, a generous beauty therapy room, a separate body therapy room, which incorporates a wet area for spa treatments and advanced body treatments, while also having a lecture/study room for theory instruction.
College Principal, Georgina Price, recently launched her new programme of post-graduate courses including spa treatments, stone therapy and specialised waxing, which are proving to be extremely popular with both present and past students. Georgina Price is perhaps one of the most renowned names in beauty therapy in the West of Ireland, with vast experience in both education and training, whilst also working as an examiner for the internationally recognised CIDESCO examining board. Georgina’s experience in this area has proven invaluable, and the college boasts a 100% success rate with this qualification for the past number of years. Liosban is the perfect location for the college with excellent facilities, coffee shops, accommodation and free car parking, whilst being so easily accessible from both the Headford and Tuam Roads. The Coen Cantrell College will hold its next open day for prospective students on Saturday, July 28 from 10am-6pm.
