Sword lists the Special Olympics in 2003 and the Ryder Cup in 2006 among its once-off contracts for security services.

Sword's training centres are FETAC-approved while in the UK it is a member of the Security Industry Authority's Approved Contractor Scheme.

At peak season in Ireland, Sword supplies over 1,200 security and stewarding staff. In the UK, the company has over 250 personnel.

Sword has also been awarded the contract for supply of staff to the Irish Greyhound Board's stadiums including Shelbourne Park and Harold's Cross in Dublin and Cork Stadium.

It recently won the contract to secure the Quality Hotel Group.

In the medium term, Sword plans to bid for security services for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and the 2012 Olympics in London.
