The Claregalway Hotel has been awarded the Fáilte Ireland Service Excellence Award for 2007/08. This award aims to recognise and reward hotels that have achieved service excellence on an on-going basis. The Fáilte Ireland award is part of the overall Ireland's Best programme which monitors hotels' performances throughout the year.

Paul Gill, Managing Director of the Claregalway Hotel, said; "We are delighted to be granted the Ireland's Best Award for Service Excellence. This award was achieved by our hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated management and staff team here at the Claregalway Hotel. We would also like to extend a big thank you to our customers, as it is only through their feedback and constructive comments that we can continually improve on the service we provide to them".

The Optimus Award is the first step in the journey to achieving the overall 'Ireland's Best Practice Award'. This is a great achievement for a hotel as new as the Claregalway Hotel. "Since starting the Fáilte Ireland Optimus Programme, we have experienced an increase in business and improved customer satisfaction", says Paul Gill.
