Ireland's premier electrical retailer, D.I.D Electrical have joined forces with Ireland's fastest growing furniture retailer, Curley's Furniture, to offer the people of Galway and Ennis the complete home solution under one roof.

The two 100 per cent Irish owned companies will combine at Briarhill, Galway and Westgate Business Park, Ennis, with the amalgamation expected to be a major jobs boost to the regions.

The Galway store will be the biggest electrical store in the region, occupying an additional 20,000 square feet underneath Curley's furniture in Briarhill. The Ennis store will take up over 10,000 square feet of the Westgate Business Park.

D.I.D Electrical currently operate 16 branches nationwide, with the addition of the Galway and Ennis stores bringing this total to 18. It is also expected that this number will grow in conjunction with the projected expansion planned for Curley's furniture nationwide.

D.I.D offers low prices on top brand kitchen appliances, laptops, digital media products, televisions and home entertainment systems.

Curley's furniture has experienced an amazing period of growth, opening their fifth store in late 2007, with a projected three more stores expected for early 2009.

The D.I.D electrical store is expected to open in both locations in late autumn.
