Page 1 of 2 The Galway Laser and Skincare Clinic, which opened its doors just two weeks ago, offers a new approach to laser hair removal, medical microdermabrasion, photo rejuvenation for broken veins and is the first clinic to host laser tattoo removal in the West.Athenry native Irene Trowell has worked in the beauty industry for over four years, beginning as a therapist and progressing to manager of a top city centre beauty salon. Irene knows the business from the bottom up. "I felt that now was the right time to move out on my own, I wanted to set up a clinic that focused on specific specialised treatments so that when you come to The Galway Laser and Skincare Clinic you are getting the best possible treatments" said Irene. "We specialise in hair removal and skincare. These specialised treatments are becoming more and more popular as they produce such unbelievable results. People find these machines great as, after a few sessions, you see and feel the benefits" said Irene. The clinic uses an IPL medical grade machine for hair removal; this machine allows the therapist to regulate the energy levels. Therefore, depending on the client's hair and skin colour, the machine will be adjusted to suit their needs. Most IPL machines are set to one energy level so they simply suit only a specific group of people. The treatment is suitable for both men and women. Ladies can say goodbye to regular waxing and shaving while, for men, a hairy chest or back can be a thing of the past. Small areas such as the upper lip, chin or underarms can be treated in a couple of minutes. |
