Since opening its doors in December 2003, Barons Self Storage has
succeeded in establishing itself as not only the largest self storage
provider in Galway but as one of the largest in Ireland.
Operating out of a 100,000 square feet state-of-the-art facility, Barons Self Storage currently has 850 individually alarmed storage units and it still retains the capacity for over 1,500 units. The company caters for every variety of storage needs: residential storage, commercial storage and document storage.Residential Storage Gerard Hosty of Barons Self Storage explains: "People who are moving house, or renovating their existing home, need to store the contents of their house and that's where we come in. We have over 30 different units sizes and can organise the full removal of their household goods, organise van hire or let customers brings their goods directly to us. We have a wide variety of packing materials on site and once customers have a unit with us they can come and go as often as they like. "We are also about to launch a free move-in service. If someone is moving, or renovating, and wishes to store their belongings with us, we will drive our truck to their home, they load it and we will drive it back to our facility where they unload into their own unit. This saves the customer the cost of hiring the removal truck." Commercial Storage "From a commercial point of view, Barons Self Storage caters to a wide spectrum of local and national businesses. Our ability to accept deliveries on behalf of our clients relieves them of the pressure of accepting goods at their premises. We have a large base of commercial customers ranging from retail, IT, tradesmen, services and product support businesses." The facility is very popular amongst merchandisers working with large multi-nationals, who use Barons as a depot for all of their point of sale materials and samples. Barons are ideal for commercial businesses, as they provide flexible solutions to their storage needs. Document Storage Gerard says, "Whether it be banks, solicitors, accountants, doctors or hotels, they all have a need to store documents. With increasing rents, companies, who once had a store, have now turned it into an office and they store their documents off site with us for as little as 70 cent a month, depending on what type and quantity of files they have." With a confidential retrieval and delivery service, customers do not have to leave their office to store their files. Security He adds, "All our customers and potential customers can be sure that security is our top priority. We have internal and external video surveillance, twin burglar alarm systems and each unit is individually alarmed with only the customer having access to their unit. It is their lock and their key - confidentiality guaranteed. The building is monitored 24 hours a day and open seven days a week." Three full time employees work in Barons. The business is open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm, Sunday from noon to 3pm and on Saturday from 9am to 6pm. For further information, see www.storage.ie or phone 091-771325. |
